Next Version Will "Connect" for Users!

2ndSegment is planning an early 2007 release of
the next version of Climb!. Here are some of the
new features we know you'll appreciate:
- Completely new airport database with more airports and more complete airport coverage; nearly 10,000 airports, all with latitude and longitude information.
- New airport data structure will support both ICAO and IATA/FAA airport identifiers in each individual record.
- Year, Month, and Aircraft ID categories added to the report generation feature.
- Mobile device support enhanced with full drag and drop setup in the iCal window.
- Quickly query detailed airport information and display it in Safari.
- Instantly pull up a satellite image of an airport in Google Earth.
- Access detailed current and forecast weather conditions on the NOAA web site.
- Automatically parse airport information directly to the Airport Edit window, ready to be saved as a new airport entry!
Climb! Goes Universal!

With the release of Version 2.1, Climb! is now a
Universal Binary Application. What does this mean
to you? Now Climb! runs natively on both PowerPC
and Intel Macs yielding the maximum possible
speed and stability.
V2.1 also incorporates a number of improvements and fixes and is a recommended upgrade for all users. Download a copy today!

- Climb! is now a Universal Binary and runs natively on PowerPC and Intel platforms.
- New "canned remarks" adds the ability to save text clippings (crew names, positions, etc.) for quick entry in the flight record Remarks field.
- Log View Table "Option" and "Other" columns are now customizable. Custom names appear on Log View Table, Totals Table, Edit Panel, View Panel, and in printed logbooks and reports.
- New preference allows the bypass of automatic calculation of block times. This increases flexibility by allowing the entry of block time independent of out and in times.
- Enabled search of the Time Split fields; Night Time, XC Time, Sim Inst Time, and Act Inst Time.
- Help Tags on the View Panel now display field operation and block time split data as well as elapsed time since block in.
- Enhanced Replace function now automatically reclassifies flight time for Cat Class, Flying Type, and Flight Conditions changes.

Right now, Climb! runs with full capability on Intel Macs using built-in Rosetta dynamic translation. Rosetta is an integral part of OS X Tiger on the Intel Dual Core iMac and MacBook Pro.
