Climb! V2.0 In Development

Why Version 2? The next version of Climb! takes advantage of a totally new development environment and has been rewritten to support a new database engine and structure*. Although the user interface is familiar, things under the hood have changed substantially.

The new database is much quicker: In large logbooks, replace and save operations have been shortened from minutes to seconds. Logbook file size has been reduced nearly 75%. All users should see much better performance from both the user interface and the logbook and airport databases.

A few of the V2.0 enhancements:
  • New fields to help track airport operations (night landings, instrument approaches, etc.)
  • Selectable column alignment in the Log View Table
  • New color selection controls
  • New relative date choices (last 90 days, last 18 months, etc.)
  • Contextual menu control of column width
90% of these enhancements are the result of user input. Please contact us with your suggestions.

*Registered users will be able to automatically convert their V1 logbooks to V2 format.
